Innovative Algorithms For Applications On European Exascale Supercomputers
Inno4scale originates as a European endeavor with the aim of facilitating the creation of inventive algorithms tailored for exascale supercomputers. The primary goal is to ensure the optimal utilization of these advanced systems. Given the anticipated inefficiency of existing high-performance computing codes on forthcoming exascale platforms, the initiative is focused on recognizing and nurturing applications that possess the capacity to effectively harness the capabilities of the upcoming EuroHPC exascale systems. Ultimately, the project aims to select the most successful application, which will then be adopted by both the scientific and industrial sectors beyond the project’s duration.

Expected duration of innovation studies: Maximum 12 months with expected commencement not later than 1st February 2024
Funding for the Call: The indicative total funding budget is € 4 M. The maximum funding request per proposal is € 200,000 (covering all participants). The maximum level of effort to be supported for a proposed innovation study is 24 person months (in total).
